Rachael has been performing nutrient analysis and creating FDA approved nutrition facts labels for ten years. Rachael utilizes ESHA Gensis R&D nutrition analysis software, which is the gold standard in the industry.

Bio

I grew up standing on a chair next to, whoever was in the kitchen, helping them create food for our family.

But, never thought about making it my career until I happened to choose a nutrition class in college to fulfil a prerequisite. After that, I was hooked. I needed to learn everything there was to know about food and how it worked to nourish our bodies. 

I quickly changed my major, loading my schedule even through summer & winter breaks.

I graduated from San Diego State University with my bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science in 2010. During my time at SDSU, I helped to create an organization for nutrition students who had a love for the culinary arts. A mentor of mine explained what a Registered Dietitian was and my heart was set on learning more.

In 2012, I completed my dietetic internship (with a clinical emphasis), to become a Registered Dietitian, through the University of California San Diego Medical Center. 

Since then, I have primarily worked in the culinary industry.

Pairing my love of the culinary arts with my passion for nutrition & wellness. From working with family owned restaurants to large restaurant chains, corporate wellness, cooking classes with the Wounded Warrior Project, eating disorders, intuitive eating & picky eaters. 

Food is so much more than just fuel.

Food is meant to be enjoyed and it can also nourish our bodies in such incredible ways!

We hired Rachael to develop weekly meal plans that would enable us to strategically add calories and introduce new foods, without adding a lot of pressure or stress on our son or family.
